I am a very compassionate and non-judgemental therapist. I work from home (also online) and provide a safe, friendly, relaxing environment where we can work in partnership to find ways to move through issues and concerns that may be affecting your quality of life, relationships or personal development. I will help you to connect with the life you want through strong and informed choices.   I work with a variety of modalities, predominantly Internal Family Systems which is an evidenced based, trauma-informed treatment for  anxiety, depression, PTSD and substance abuse. It encompasses most other forms of psychotherapeutic techniques such as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment therapy,  Person-Centred, Solution Focused, Gestalt.

With insight we can find our voice and see more clearly the life we lead. Our solutions are always within sight.

My Approach

My practice is situated in my very relaxed, private residence. I am also available for online  sessions.  

I believe that effective counselling is not just about managing symptoms, but about understanding and healing the deeper patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate to others.

My work draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and similar compassionate, evidence-based modalities. These approaches recognise that we all have different “parts” within us — for example, an inner critic, a protector, or a part that carries pain from the past. Rather than trying to silence or fight against these parts, IFS invites us to listen to them with curiosity and care. When we do, their deeper needs are understood, old wounds can begin to heal, and lasting change becomes possible.

In our sessions, you’ll be supported to:

  • Explore your thoughts and emotions safely and without judgment

  • Build a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself

  • Let go of patterns that no longer serve you

  • Improve communication and connection in your relationships

  • Rediscover a sense of peace, clarity, and inner strength

I work at your pace, tailoring each session to your unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where real healing and personal growth can unfold.

GRIEF AND LOSS

Grief can feel overwhelming — bringing sadness, anger, confusion, or even numbness. Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a gentle way to explore the parts of you that are hurting, while also connecting with the deeper strength and calm inside.

Through IFS, you can:

  • Honour and understand the parts holding sadness or pain

  • Release feelings of guilt, regret, or “unfinished business”

  • Find comfort in your memories and meaning in your loss

  • Reconnect with a sense of peace and hope

IFS doesn’t erase grief, but it helps you carry it with more compassion, making space for both healing and love.
